Figan Dastan
Architectural Assistant
Figan has joined Primmer Olds B.A.S in 2023 as Architectural Assistant to work within the Building Consultancy Team. Figan studied architectural and archaeological restoration in Turkey and worked on many architectural restoration projects and archaeological digs. Figan has studied BA (Hons) Architecture and completed her master’s degree in Fine Arts at AUB. Figan’s artwork practice became a crossing path between her two study subjects Art & Architecture. In 2019 Figan participated in an exhibition and workshop as a member of AUB’s Architecture team, that took place in the British Pavilion at Venice Architecture Biennale.
In her spare time, she practices her art about Body, Space, and circles in multiple dimensions. As well as this, because of her restoration background, she is also interested in traditional crafts such as carpentry, wood carving, pottery, pattern making, and tile painting.
Outside of architectural work and art studies, Figan enjoys reading and observing nature in the details of micro photography. Her favourite sports are cycling and paddle boarding.
