Lidl Looks to Expand Further in Shirley, Southampton
Quality discount retailer Lidl has further expanded its
plans for a new store in Shirley, Southampton assisted by Primmer Olds BAS.
The company acquired the former Shirley Police Station for a new store, but a further acquisition of the adjoining Shirley Carpets store together with two further smaller shops will now enable the retailer to create a larger and better laid out store that will enhance the local community.
The businesses adjacent have now been re-located to alternative shops in the area further enhancing the area. Primmer Olds BAS assisted with the purchase of this additional land & the relocation of the businesses. This is likely to be a real boost for the area with planning consent expected early 2018.
