Residential Development Deal Update

Our investment and development agency team remains active with two off market residential development transactions completed in the last few months.

In East Hampshire we secured an off-market site on a subject to planning basis for seven new houses in Liss, within The South Downs National Park. The site was allocated for housing in the neighbourhood plan in 2017, but had previous applications refused.

We carefully thought about who the best developer client was, for this type of project and secured the site on an option basis, with planning being granted at the end of March 2022.

In Gosport, Hampshire, we have also secured a 1.2 hectare site for our national housebuilder client, Bellway. This was another off-market transaction, with the land being promoted for circa seventy houses. The site was secured on an un-conditional basis.

The team is currently selling development opportunities across the central southern region, from Chichester in West Susses, to Newbury in Berkshire, as well as Witney in Oxfordshire for a mixed client base. We have further opportunities coming available including a housing site in Surrey and are always looking for new projects for clients.
