Preventative Maintenance (PPM) for Andover Chantry Centre
Primmer Olds B.A.S are delighted to be working with Test Valley Council on compiling a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule for the Andover Chantry Centre. This will enable them to have a greater understanding on the current condition and challenges facing the fabric in the future. This will then provide guidance for them to maintain it effectively and efficiently.
As a regulated RICS firm we look to and refer to the newly published global guidance note on the topic - effective as of 1 May 2022.
We will be producing a robust document that breaks out the elemental fabric and structure on site, giving them a condition and priority rating alongside budget costings to ensure they are well equipped to target areas of the site they are responsible for and ensure that the property is well looked after for the future.
In the simplest of layman’s terms, this schedule will allow high level budgeting for the next 10 years whilst ensuring that service charge records can be proactively informed and the budgetary burden on tenants managed as best as possible.
This kind of engagement, from our point of view, reflects the responsible and positive mindset of a landlord who wishes to be well informed about their assets.
This is just one example of where our building consultancy team can help maintain value throughout ownership and help manage multi let assets.
